MAY Management Services, Inc. was formed in November 1988 by three partners with experience in community management. Their initial office was in Ponte Vedra followed by an office in St. Augustine and quickly grew as they started to service more and more of the larger communities in St. Johns County.
In 1998, the World Golf Village development began and MAY was awarded the contracts for the five masters and sub associations. The MAY Management WGV office was opened six months later. During that same year, Ocean Hammock developers contacted MAY and the Palm Coast area became a new frontier for the MAY team.
For the next “15” years MAY Management continued its growth adding new communities and thousands of homes to their management portfolio throughout St. Johns, Duval and Flagler Counties to become one of the leading Community Management firms in Northeast Florida.
MAY recognized early on that having financial strength in the market to support associations with their budgets, billings, controlling expenses and most of all their collections would help them excel even more and over time made significant investments to their accounting team making them a leader in Community Management specifically when it came to Financial Management. To this day MAY continues to offer superior Financial Management Solutions for hundreds of their communities. MAY Management Services was soon becoming known as the largest and most respected community Management Company in NE Florida.
MAY Management also established relationships with numerous developers by providing professional consultations and by developing the initial budgets for their new communities. During the building boom in NE Florida, MAY Management Services grew from managing 80 associations to 170 and from 60 to 150 employees.
MAY Management celebrates 32+ years in the industry. The future certainly looks bright for MAY Management Services, the communities they support and all of the MAY family members that have worked so hard to make it all happen.
